"If you're a performer who's also writing a play, here's a valuable lesson: create a good part for yourself.
That's what the delightfully daffy Sari Caine has done in The Chess Lesson."    - TheaterMania

While Sari teaches all acting to all ages, starting her acting career at age 3 gifted her with a special affinity for working with teens and children. Her background as a writer with an MFA in playwriting from Hunter College, director, and Artistic Director of two different New York City theatrical companies left her with a deep understanding of both the business and artistic sides of the profession. Sari's decision to streamline her writing and acting careers and write roles for herself led her to encourage all performers to take control of their careers rather than waiting for work to come their way. She applies her classical training to her workshops along with her experience studying the Meisner technique with Fred Kareman at Studio 502 / Carnegie Hall and years studying the Uta Hagen and Stella Adler techniques, voice training, mask, clown, Alexander, directing with founding member of Atlantic Theater Company Karen Kohlhaas, and improv at UCB and The Magnet Theater.
